2023: The Swamp
This year we decided (Stephen convinced us) to build a swamp in the garage. The only thing is he wanted there to be actual water! So we pulled our collective insanity together make it happen.
Galen set out to fill the garage with water and to build a suspension bridge in his madness.
We decorated the inside of the house to be a very spooky dock filled with all sorts of curios shops.
From Butcher Shops, to a street funeral, to a curio shop, and a Tarot card Reader.
Finally culminating in the swamp, who’s work speaks for itself.
2020 – COVIDoween
Banned from their usual haunting grounds by the CDC the monsters did the only logical thing and decided to crawl out of their crypt and throw a party.
Haunted by an eerie blue light it is said that the crypt is the final resting place of the former residents of our haunting place. It is said if you look closely you can see one of their corpses hanging inside.
Fortunately the cemetery was available and we were able to book it for our little party. If you look carefully you can see the creature from the black lagoon peeping out of the pool.
While a small child chews on a grisly treat the bride of Frankenstein chats with the mummy who is drying his bandages after a dip in the pool.
Sadly the wolfman escaped his chains and roamed the neighborhood while Frankenstein prepared the handburgers, stakes, and finger food for all of our guests, only one of whom died of starvation.
The count put on his holiday best and spent some time trying to get a tan by the light of the moon.
It was a rocking party under less than perfect circumstances but the monsters all had fun and were glad to see so many of you turn out. Hopefully they will lift the quarantine next year and the monsters can return to their usual haunt.
2019: Cloo
In 2019 we decided to revisit an old favorite. We re-invented Clue and gave it our own twist. We had 3 levels of difficulty, 6 different potential murderers, a collection of our own weapons, and a great time.
